These past few weeks have gone by so fast! In anticipation of going back to work and taking Ellia to daycare.. I don't know where the time has gone. Last week we went to visit with Amelia and baby Chad. Ellia and Chad already look like a couple!!! We also visited with Grandpap Ollis who is improving everyday. Praise God! Aunt Kristin's baby shower was on Saturday and cousin Wendy's surprise 30th birthday party was that night! Ellia was exhausted. Yesterday Ellia went to daycare for a couple hours so mommy could get familiar with her new office location. Mommy cried as she left her little girl but Ellia seems to be doing well. We also went to visit with Great Grandma Angelo for lunch. Today she went for a couple hours to daycare and didn't even realize mommy had dropped her off! Tomorrow (April 1st) is mommy's first full day back to work and Ellia's first full day at daycare. Mommy has never been apart from her little miss for this long. It will be a hard day and mommy will be saying prayers through the whole thing. How I have enjoyed these last 5 months of being off and becoming a mother to the most beautiful little girl that I could have ever imagined being blessed to take care of. I feel like I have a purpose now. That this is what I was meant to be. Ellia's mom! Bare with me in my efforts to continue blogging since I am sure working will keep me busy. Here are some pictures from the past couple of weeks. Enjoy and blessings to all.

18 weeks old!!!
My how time goes by so fast. Ellia is 18 weeks old. She changes and develops more each day. This week she found her toes, blows raspberries, reaches for things to touch, and shrieks when she doesn't get her way. Our efforts to have her sleep through the night are failing and I believe that is thanks to teething. Last night was the worst ever since her first night home. She woke up in the middle of the night and did not sleep again until 2 hours later. We will see how tonight goes.
In the mean time I am enjoying the interaction with her and how she gives me that little look as if she is telling me she loves me. St.Patty's day marks one year since I took a pregnancy test and realized that I was going to be a mom. I just can't believe how time goes by and the many blessings God had graced my family with over this year. Here are some pictures from this past week. Ellia hung out with daddy and even tried on his hat. We also visited Grandpa Ollis on Tuesday. Praise God that he is regaining his strength and there are talks of him coming home soon.

4 months old!
Ellia had her 4 month old check up yesterday. She is 13 lbs. 12oz and 25 3/8" long. She also had to get her second round of shots. poor thing.. she must have known what was coming because she cried so hard even before the nurse started anything. This past weekend was fun. Friday night we went with Aunt Jen, cousin Alex and Samantha and Mimi Ollis to visit Papie Ollis. The girls are so cute next to each other and Alex loves to interact with Ellia. Ellia looks at him like he is crazy but seems to want to get up and go too. Saturday was Aunt Kelly's bridal shower. Then Saturday night mommy and daddy went bowling while Ellia hung out with Pap pap and Grammy Angelo. Last week Ellia also continued to sleep 7 hrs during the night, however the time chage has caused her to get off schedule and the shots didn't help either. Here are some fun pictures from this past weekend and week.

16 weeks old
At 16 weeks, Ellia is such a little person. She is so animated and makes us smile every day. Lately she seems to be trying to roll over. Kevin had her on her stomach the other day and she starts to try and turn over. It is so amazing how they learn and change. She also is a little whiner. She does this fake cry in protest and when I walk away she stops.. it cracks me up! Little miss priss suites her just fine! The last couple of nights she has slept over 7 hours!! I am beside myself since I still get up in the middle of the night. It is nice but sometimes scares me and keeps me wondering how long this will last. It has been nice though to wake up and feel like I got a good nights rest. She still takes naps during the day as well and when she is awake she is content in her swing or other entertainer. She really is a good little girl and getting so big.
Time with Daddy!
