First Thanksgiving!

Ellia's first Thanksgiving was a hit! From the pictures it looks like she ate too much turkey. Mommy and her even adventured out on black Friday. We went out to the mall with Grandma Ollis, Aunt Jen, and cousin Alex. Surrounding shoppers ooh'd and ahh'd over her. It was really good for Mommy to get out of the house for awhile. Hope everyone had a good Holiday.

2 Weeks Old!

Well Ellia is now 2 weeks old! She is growing bigger each day and changing into her own little person. She has taken a bottle already and her belly button is almost all the way healed. She as also gone to Giant Eagle and Target too! Kevin went back to work on Tuesday and I am trying to get used to being on my own with her. Here are some pictures from the past week. One Week Old

Well yesterday at 2:37pm, we have had Ellia for one whole week! It is going by so fast and she is growing so much already. We took her to the doctors to see if she made it back to her birth weight and she exceeded that weight. She now weighs 9 lbs 2 oz. She is doing really well with feedings and getting better at night with sleeping 3 hours before needing a feeding. She has been cranky though the last couple of days and her little temper comes out more and more. It makes Kevin and I smile. What a little individual she is. Here are some pictures from the past couple of days. Hope everyone is doing well.

Bath Time Fun

Here are some pictures to enjoy of Ellia and her bath. She is such a good girl! Nights are getting a little better but today she was fussy. She would not let us put her down. Guess those days are expected. Kevin said to me that this all feels like a dream. I kind of feel the same way. It isn't bad but just really different. However to see him smile at the sight of her warms my heart. We are so blessed. Life is truly a miracle.

She's Here!

Hi Everyone!!! Ellia Renee is finally here. Sorry that I have not posted anything for awhile. Kevin and I have been preoccupied by a little someone. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for your love and prayers. I had a great delivery. They induced me at 8:30am on the 11th, broke my water at 9:30am, gave me an epidural by 11:00am and then I only had to push for 15 min. before Ellia was born at 2:37pm. She weighed 8lbs and 12oz, 20 inches long. She is getting adjusted to everything and so are Kevin and I. The first day home was really hard but we are getting better as we go along. The dogs love her and are really attentive. Vader is the one that wants to always be around her and kiss her. Bo just stays by whoever has her as the protector. I will try to post a video of us coming home and her meeting the dogs. Meanwhile, here are some pictures from the delivery and just over the past couple days. I will try to put some updates on now and then but of course my time has been limited. I am feeling better everyday and just enjoying our new little blessing.

Being induced tomorrow!

Well the doctor has decided to have me induced tomorrow, 11/11/08. I am 3cm dilated and 80% effaced. Ellia could come on her own tonight but if not I am schedule to go to the hospital between 7-7:30 am. Here are a couple pictures of my last day being pregnant! I can't believe that we will be able to hold our little one tomorrow. Thank you all for you support and prayers. We will be sending pictures as soon as we can. Our little Ellia bean will be here soon!!!!!!!

8 Days Over Due!

Well I have a doctors appointment today at 12:45pm. We will see if they try to induce or at least get things started. I am still feeling good and dreaming about becoming a mom. It seems all so surreal. To think that I will be able to hold her and not feel her move inside me anymore. It went so fast. I will update you all later on what the doctor says if I am available. If not I will have Kevin give the update. We had a nice relaxing weekend and Kevin got me roses to keep me smiling. Talk to you all later with some good news hopefully.

Still Waiting

The stork has yet to deliver baby Ellia to us and we remain on baby watch. The doctors will induce labor on Wednesday should she not come on her own by then. We are very excited and can't wait to meet her. Here's some pics from the week she was due... Even the dogs are anxious. At least we got to celebrate Christina's Birthday, Christina' Father's Birthday and her parents anniversary. Now we would just like to celebrate Ellia's Birthday. We will keep you posted if anything happens prior to Wednesday.
