Baby Samantha is here!

Today my sister had her baby. Samantha was born at 11:02am and is 8lbs. 3oz. and 19 1/2 inches long. Jen got induced at 8am and then had an epidural at 9:30. Sam came very fast and Jen said she pushed for 10min. I guess us Ollis girls were just made to have babies! Ellia even took it all in when we arrived. Alex is so excited with his new sister. Thursday we met them for lunch at pizza hut and it was Ellia's first restaurant experience. It has been a fun couple of days.

10 weeks - "Here We Go Steelers"

Ellia turned 10 weeks old on Tuesday. This past weekend was exciting with the Steelers winning the playoffs to g0 to the super bowl. Ellia supported the team at the Angelo's. The dogs enjoyed each others company in the snow. Kevin and his dad threw snowballs to them in the back yard. Bo and Zoey caught them in their mouths while Vader and Jake just let the snowballs hit them in the head! Ellia and I are patiently waiting for the arrival of her new cousin Samantha. My sister will be induced on Friday if she doesn't go before then. Here are some pictures from this past weekend and the last couple of days. I can't get over how much Ellia changes each week.

2 months and counting...

Well last Sunday Ellia turned 2 months. She had her check up on Monday and weighs 12lbs exactly. She is also 23 1/2 inches long. Unfortunately she had to get some shots and that probably hurt Mommy more than her. She did really good though and the doctor was impressed at how well she holds her head up. This past week Mommy tried to do more belly time with her. She talks a lot more to Mommy and Daddy too. Here are some pictures from this past week. We went to see Mommy's boss at work one day too. She is already being recruited.

8 weeks old

Well it has been 3 weeks since my last blog. The holidays have come and gone so fast. Ellia is also changing so much. She has her 2 month old check up next Monday. I am sure she is around 12 lbs by now. It is amazing how alert she is for a 2 month old. She holds her head up almost 90% of the time and seems to want to talk to us. She smiles, coos and we swear she says hi back to us when we talk to her. Christmas eve we spent with the Angelo's. She wore her Christmas dress and her outfits letting everyone know it was her "first" Christmas. Christmas day was spent with my side of the family. However my dad was taken to the emergency room due to shortness of breath. We thought he had pneumonia again, then the doctors said he may have had congestive heart failure. He didn't come home to New Years Eve and has to be on oxygen. Please keep him in your prayers. Daddy also got Ellia her first set of diamond earrings for Christmas! I guess he is okay with me getting her ears pierced soon. New Years Eve we had a wedding for Kevin's cousin. Kevin did a reading and Ellia just took the whole night in.
