The Rest of June 2011!!!!

From meeting Baby Hannah, celebrating Mimi’s Birthday, celebrating Magerie and Garrett’s Birthday’s and Father’s Day.. we have had a lot happening to wrap up June. Here it is already the end of July and I’m just getting to the blog again to complete last month’s activities.

So the weekend after Hannah came home we took Miss Ellia over to see her. And it was love at first sight. She calls her “My Baby Hannah”. Ellia has the perfect motherly instinct. Calling Hannah sweetheart and comforting her with soft shhhs. She was so inquisitive with everything. Wanting to help Kelly feed her, change her, rock her, burp her… but most of all just to hold her. Again, I can’t wait to see what a wonderful big sister she is going to be. Now if only we could get her to stop calling my belly Baby Hannah!

June 15th is my Mom’s birthday so the whole family went out to celebrate at her favorite restaurant, Red Lobster. The kids really liked looking at the lobsters and they got the chance to touch one. Samantha is the only one that actually touched it. Ellia and Alex were too chicken! My mom seemed to enjoy time with the family and her grandkids. We also celebrated Father’s Day. This was the first adventure out for my Dad since all the complications he has been having. Thanks again for all those prayers and please keep them coming. He is progressing daily and we are so thankful for that!

June 18th we celebrated cousin Magerie’s 2nd birthday and Garrett’s 1st birthday. What a wonderful time with family and the kids. Garrett however was not at aggressive with his smash cake as Magerie was when she turned one. It was fun to watch his curiosity and enjoyment. What a patient little boy! Then it was Magerie’s turn and she was gracious enough to let her cousin help blow out the candles. These two little ladies are going to be trouble when the grow up! We got a nice shot of the Father’s as well for Father’s day! And Great Grandma Angelo also got to meet her 6th great grandchild. Priceless pictures!

The next day, June 19th was Father’s Day. We went to church and then enjoyed free wings they provided to the Dad’s after service. Ron even won a fishing pole for being the newest dad! We then headed over to Nana and Papa’s. Even though it was Father’s Day, the girls took over. Nana brought out the dress up close that she bought before Ellia was even born and we enjoyed watching our little princesses get dressed up for their daddies. Even Hannah decided to put on her royal garments. So much fun! Did I say Magerie and Ellia are going to be trouble when they grow up? I meant Magerie, Ellia and Hannah! Don’t’ worry Garrett… another boy will join you soon enough! Later on Ellia and Dada enjoyed taking silly pictures on Papa’s Apple Computer… so funny!

Well on June 28th we officially closed on our house!!!! That weekend we headed over and had some family come to help me decide on paint and check out the new place. Trust me, July is filled with activities as well and the move!!!! I will be posting again soon enough to catch up!!! Love you all much!
