A couple weeks left!

Well we are nearing the end folks. These last couple of weeks Kevin and I have been trying to pay as much attention to Ellia as possible. And so this means many baby doll parties, hide and seek games as well as other fun activities. We are having a blast though and I think we are both realizing more and more how much our little baby girl is no longer going to be the baby anymore. When people ask her if she is excited to be a big sister she proudly says yes and then tells them his name is going to be Dominic. She told me just the other day that she can’t wait to hold him and help change his poopy diaper. You can change all the poopy diapers you want Ellia! Here are some pictures from her baby birthday party with Daddy.

I had a dear friend of mine come over to visit and she brought her little boy Jude who is about 5 months. Ellia was just fascinated by him. Thank you Jamie for letting her practice being a big sister.

On September 23rd, Kevin and I got to go out for probably our last “adult” night for a while. We went to Nakama to celebrate our friend Angela’s birthday. It was a fun night of food and friends. Happy Birthday Angela! I’m 39 weeks in these pictures.

Saturday the 24th we went to celebrate Charlotte’s 3 birthday. Charlotte is the daughter of a dear family friend. I have grown up with Kristen since we were babies and so extended family is usually how we refer to them. It was a beautiful day and the theme of the party was the Backyardigans. Charlotte loves this show. Ellia really has never watched it but that didn’t faze her at all. Ellia had a blast playing in the yard and having Uncle Dave teach her how to play frisbee, catch and then take wagon rides. Charlotte’s little brother Tyler is about 5 months old now. So cute. Ellia of course loved him. I also got some good pictures of the 3 girls, Ellia, Charlotte and Samantha. They are going to be trouble when they get older.

We played a lot of games as well. There as pin the bow tie on Pablo. The blindfold was a little, well big! Haha. Then we had cake and then we went outside for some piƱata fun. The kids really enjoyed collecting the candy and special goodies. Then it was gift time! Thanks Kristin, Chris and Charlotte for a wonderful day! Happy 3rd Birthday Charlotte!!!

Oh and of course here is me at 39 weeks.

That Sunday it was so warm. Kevin was washing down the deck and Ellia had to help. These are some cute pictures of her helping Dada. Unfortunately every time she wants to go on the deck she thinks her cloths can come off. Haha.

Then on Monday we had a little visitor. A frog hopped into our garage from the rain. Ellia was okay with the frog as long as it didn’t jump. And then when it did she got very scared and wanted it to go away. Kevin wanted to keep it for a pet. No thank you! He can be an outdoor pet!

These last few weeks Ellia has been transitioning into the preschool room. The big kid room as she calls it. It is nice for her to see all her old friends that used to be in the toddler room with her and I think it really makes her feel big and important too. She will be off with me when I have the baby and I am sure will miss all her friends very much. Here are some pictures of her last day in the toddler room this past Friday, September 30th. I know she will miss her teachers Mrs. Amy and Mrs. Dee very much. And don’t forget Ally piggy! Thank you Love and Learn Toddler Staff for presenting Ellia with not only the education and care she needs but the nurturing and safe environment that we have prayed for. We will miss you very much.
Well now we are doing the waiting game. We will see what our little guy decides to do. I am writing this blog one day past my due date! I have a doctor’s appointment today and we will see what happens. Please keep us all in your prayers and hopefully the next post will be entitled “Ellia meets her Brother!”.
Until then… much love and blessings!!
